What we collect, and why

Last updated 28 August 2026.

Reading the site

You can read every page without an account. We do not run advertising or third-party tracking. Our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps standard server logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested — for a short period to keep the service running and secure.

The sign-up form

If you use the “get updates” form we receive the name, email address, role and message you type. They are sent to us as a single email through Brevo, our email provider, and used only to reply to you and to tell you when the site changes. We do not sell or share them. To be removed, email hello@cyclists.com and we will delete what we hold.

Routes and photos

Routes on the site come from GPS recordings made by their contributors, who have agreed to publish them. The part of any recording near a contributor’s home is removed before publication, and timestamps are never published. Photographs are the contributors’ own. If you appear in a photograph and would like it taken down, email us and it will be removed.

Where data lives

Site content is stored with Supabase and served by Vercel. Both act as processors on our behalf. Sign-up emails pass through Brevo.
