It continues climbing gently through suburbs and towns such as Al Bajriyah, Al Amerat, and al Mahaj al Shamaliyah, reaching elevations over 1000m before approaching the town of Al Hajar at 36km. After Al Hajar, the route proceeds through villages including Al Mahyul, Manzariyah, Fuad al Hadu, and Saadi, with elevations fluctuating around 900 to 1200m. Several gentle climbs occur between 72 and 93km, with gradients averaging 2.2 to 2.7% and maximum gradients just under 4%. The highest point is near 77.5km at 389m. The final section includes a 4.2km climb starting at 141.5km with a maximum gradient of 8.4%, reaching 248m before descending back towards Muscat.
