N tes sits at the head of one long point-to-point route, the 128.2 km ride to Cap d'Agde. It leaves the city through Les Carmes, Feuch res, Saint-C saire and Car meau before reaching open country at Caveirac and Langlade, then works west through Calvisson, Cong nies, Aujargues, Junas and Aubais to Villetelle and Lunel. From Lunel the route turns for the sea, passing Saint-Just and Saint-Nazaire-de-P zan on the way to La Grande-Motte. The second half runs along the coast through Carnon, Palavas-les-Flots, Frontignan, La Peyrade and S te, then Marseillan Plage before finishing at Cap d'Agde. Total climbing is only 188 m, and the highest point of the whole day is 89 m, so the appeal here is distance and a steady line from inland Languedoc to the Mediterranean rather than any sustained ascent.

Best time to ride

The route is recorded in September, at around 28 C warm but workable for a long flat day, with early starts helping on the exposed coastal stretch.

Terrain

Essentially flat to very gently rolling: 188 m of gain spread over 128.2 km, with a high point of 89 m in the low ground west of N tes. No categorised climbs feature on the route, and the coastal section from La Grande-Motte onwards is at sea level.
