A flat 39.6 km loop from Cap d'Agde out through Grau d'Agde and Agde to Vias and back, with just 96 m of climbing.

The loop leaves Cap d'Agde and runs west along the coastal edge, reaching La Tamarissière at 7.5 km and Grau d'Agde shortly after at 8.3 km, where a dense run of restaurants lines the waterfront. From there it turns inland to Agde at 11.5 km, the largest place on the route and the one point with drinking water listed, at 11.8 km, alongside a café and a further cluster of places to eat. Past Agde the route drops to its lowest point, 2 m above sea level at 15.8 km, before continuing to Vias at 19 km, roughly the halfway mark and the last cluster of restaurants for some distance. Only 29% of the day's climbing comes in the first half, so the return leg holds what little gradient there is. The run back passes another small group of restaurants at 33.3 km before the high point of the loop, 44 m, arrives late at 38.8 km, less than a kilometre from the finish back in Cap d'Agde. With 96 m of gain across 39.6 km, the profile is essentially level throughout.
