The ride starts in Le Vigan at 235 m and immediately begins climbing for 5.3 km gaining 326 m at an average gradient of 6.2%, reaching 561 m. The route passes through Aulas at 2.5 km, Gaujac at 3.6 km, and Mas Fadat at 6.5 km. After a brief descent of 2 km after 5.4 km, the route continues to climb from La Peyre at 7.5 km over 12 km with an average gradient of 7.2%, reaching the top at 1354 m near 19.5 km.
