At 24.7 km begins the longest climb lasting 9 km, rising 459 m at an average 5.1% gradient to 540 m altitude near km 33.6, beneath Penha do Meio Dia (573 m).
The road surface is predominantly paved (95%), with a small 4% gravel or unpaved section.
