Riders wanting a long but almost entirely flat 70.7 km, with only 44 m of climbing to worry about.

A flat 70.7 km point-to-point across Dubai, from Jumeirah Park along the coastal suburbs to Business Bay and Trade Centre, then back west to Dubai Marina.

The ride starts in Jumeirah Park, where the cafés and restaurants are concentrated in the first 3 km, and heads north-east through Al Thanyah 1 at 1.7 km and Al Sufouh 1 at 5.4 km. From there it runs through the beachside suburbs of Umm Suqeim 3, Umm Suqeim 2 and Umm Suqeim 1 between 8 km and 12.4 km, passing Jumeirah 3 at 14.5 km. The high point of the whole route, at 0 m, comes at 16.6 km. The middle section turns inland towards the city centre, skirting Business Bay at 20.3 km and the Burj Khalifa district at 21.5 km before Trade Centre 2 and Al Satwa at around 25 km. Al Safa 1 and Al Quoz 1 follow at 31 km, then the route returns through Trade Centre at 36.5 km and Trade Centre 1 at 37.6 km. The run home goes back west through Al Wasl at 42.8 km, Jumeirah 2 at 44.3 km and Al Safa at 49.1 km, reaching the lowest point of -25 m at 58.3 km. Al Sufouh 2, Al Thanyah 3, Emirates Hills and Dubai Marina come in the final 10 km, finishing at Al Thanyah 5. Total climbing is just 44 m.
