At 48.5 km with only 128 m of climbing, it suits newer riders and anyone wanting an easy, near-flat day.
A flat 48.5 km coastal loop from Al Aqah north to Dibba and back, with just 128 m of climbing in the Hajar Mountains of the UAE.
The loop starts in Al Aqqah on the Fujairah coast and heads north, passing beneath Jabal Dadna (102 m) in the first 2 km. The road stays close to sea level throughout, and what little climbing there is comes early: the high point of the route is only 31 m, reached at 9.6 km. A cluster of cafés and restaurants around 10-12 km marks the approach to the built-up coast. From 13.8 km the route threads the suburbs of Rol Diba, Al Ras, Akamiya and Sambraid into Dibba Al Fujairah at 17.7 km, then continues through Al Doob and Al Mohalab to Dibba Al Hisn at 24.5 km. The lowest point of the day, 2 m, comes at 25.3 km, in the middle of the Northern District, Al Seeh, Al Murabah and Al Muhallab suburbs. The return runs south through Al Ghurfa and Al Fiqait, passing Aqabat al Hadid (171 m) at 34.7 km with a viewpoint just over a kilometre later. Rul Dadna comes at 42.2 km, an unnamed 299 m peak stands off the road at 46.9 km, and an ADNOC fuel station at 47.5 km signals the finish back at Al Aqqah.
